C GOLD: Il Collegno Basket ha siglato un accordo annuale con il cestista tedesco Tobias Neukamm. Atleta classe 1991, è un’ala forte di 205 cm, che regalerà muscolatura e centimetri sotto canestro al roster guidato da coach Leccia. Dopo i rinnovi delle scorse settimane e l’arrivo di Calzavara, Neukamm costituisce il secondo effettivo innesto tra le fila dei Leoni.

Nato ad Aalen (Germania) il 03-02-1991, Tobias Neukamm è un’ala forte di 205 cm, per quasi 100 kg. Cresciuto nelle fila del TSV 1861 Nördlingen e del Ratiopharm Ulm (con cui disputa l’equivalente dell’Under 20 Eccellenza), all’età di 19 anni esordisce nella seconda serie nazionale tedesca. Gli studi universitari lo portano a muoversi in direzione di Monaco e poi di Stoccarda, dove gioca in squadre di livello paragonabile alla nostra C Gold. Dopo la laurea, arrivano il trasferimento per lavoro a Torino e l’inizio della sua prima avventura cestistica al di fuori dal proprio paese, con la maglia del Collegno Basket.

Non vedo l’ora di iniziare questa avventura e di poter giocare insieme ai miei nuovi compagni nel corso della prossima stagione. Darò il massimo per fornire il mio contributo alla causa”.
Luca Amerio (team manager Collegno Basket): “Tobias è una di quelle opportunità che ti piovono dal cielo e che, come tali, vanno colte al volo. Dopo averlo letteralmente conosciuto ai campetti, lo abbiamo invitato a un paio di allenamenti al PalaCollegno ed è subito stato evidente come questo ragazzo abbia tutte le caratteristiche per poter ben figurare nel nostro campionato. Appena ricevuta la conferma da coach Leccia e dal suo staff, ci siamo mossi immediatamente con il giocatore e lo abbiamo messo sotto contratto. Alla riapertura dei termini avvieremo le pratiche di tesseramento, per ottenere nel più breve tempo possibile il transfer dalla federazione tedesca: la procedura richiesta della FIP in questi casi è abbastanza semplice, soprattutto considerando che Tobias è cittadino comunitario e residente in Italia, con un regolare permesso di soggiorno lavorativo. Per noi, oltre a rappresentare un innesto di qualità sotto le plance, Tobias va anche ad aggiungere quel pizzico di novità rappresentato dalla comunicazione in lingua inglese: sarà un’occasione per tutti di crescita e di innalzamento della soglia d’attenzione”.
ASD Collegno Basket is delighted to announce that it has signed an annual agreement for the acquisition of the rights to sports performance of German basketball player Tobias Neukamm until June 30, 2018.
Born in Aalen on February 3, 1991, Tobias is a power forward of 205cm for nearly 100kg. Grown in the ranks of TSV 1861 Nördlingen and Ratiopharm Ulm (with whom he played the equivalent of Italian Under 20 Eccellenza), at the age of 19 began in the A2 German Series. The University of Engineering and Car Design forced him to move to Munich before, and to Stuttgart later, but the passion for basketball remained so that Tobias – while privileging the studies – continues to practice in these two cities in teams comparable to our C Gold. After graduating, Tobias moved to Turin to work at the FCA Group’s style center. “I’m happy I met the people from Collegno Basket and I cannot wait to be on the court with the guys next season!” are the first words spoken by Tobias right after signing the contract that binds him to #Leoni throughout the coming season.
Tobias is one of those opportunities that skyrocket to you and that, as such, should be caught on the fly – says Team Manager Luca Amerio. Having known him literally at the playgrounds, we invited him to a couple of workouts at PalaCollegno and it was immediately seen that Tobias has all the technical and human characteristics to do great in our championship. As soon as we received the confirmation from coach Leccia and his staff, we moved immediately with the player and put him under contract. At the reopening of the terms we will begin the registration practices to get the transfer from the German federation as soon as possible: the FIP procedure in these cases is quite simple, especially since Tobias is a European Community citizen and resident in Italy with a regular work permit. For us, in addition to a quality acquisition, Tobias also adds the touch of innovation to English communication: an opportunity for the staff and his teammates to grow and to raise the threshold of attention.
